Morning Meditation [In Person]

Harness the high vibration of summer, yang energy and start your day with intention! Mediation sets your internal space for the day. It loosens the grip of ruminating thoughts and emotional ruts, as we observe our thinking silently, but together. If you have a hard time meditating on your own, try it with a group. Group meditation helps maintain focus and supports letting go. In meditation the letting go is relaxing with our thoughts, witnessing what is present for us in our minds with less judgement and more kindness. This 30 min. morning meditation will get your day off to a great start. Sitting with yourself, being present with yourself is showing respect for yourself, it is dignity in our bodies even if our minds never calm down, which is never the goal of real mindfulness meditation. Everyone is welcome and invited to take any comfortable position for this practice.

Slow Flow Yoga [In Person]

Join Kelly for a fully guided slow-flowing yoga practice that begins with grounded, resting postures, engages the muscles and lifts the heart rate once the body is warm and ends with relaxing yin postures once the mind is calm with our practice. This class is set to music and is meant to be light and fun, taking inspiration from this lush middle of summer season in Michigan. All levels welcome. Participate virtually or in person.
