Slowflow Yoga for Winter [In Person]

This one hour slow flowing yoga class will begin with REST. Winter calls us to cozy up and recharge. We’ll begin with a short yin sequence of resting poses to get really relaxed and open the body. Then, we’ll start to breathe with intention and stoke the inner fire, our energy, our prana, or chi as Eastern cultures call it. The middle of practice will be challenging, including core work for the solar plexus and holding postures. By the end of the class, you will feel awake and stronger, even able to notice the flow of your own energy. Our inner heat will burn away anxiety and worry, and our light will shine brighter. With a clearer energy field, we feel more ready to connect with others and engage with life. We feel more present. The class will be guided throughout by Kelly and set to music. No experience is necessary.
